Visit Us Before School Starts!
If it has been longer than six months since your last visit to our office, we would love to see you! We recommend that our adult patients visit our office every four to six months for a routine cleaning and exam. The length of time between appointments will be determined based on your oral health and if you have any problems, like gum disease. Our teenage and pediatric patients are recommended to visit our office every six months.
During a routine examination, we thoroughly clean the teeth and remove any lingering plaque that has developed on the surface of the teeth as well as along the gum line. We also look for signs of decay and other health issues, such as gum disease and oral cancer. If we notice a potential problem in the mouth, we use routine appointments to monitor the state of your teeth and mouth to determine when we may need to recommend treatment. Failure to visit our office for routine appointments allows decay or other issues to progress and develop into serious conditions that need more in-depth dental treatments.
If it has been more than six months since you and your family visited our office for oral hygiene examinations, we recommend contacting our office, which is located in Houston, TX, to schedule your next appointment. We recommend calling as soon as possible to see if we can schedule your visit before the start of the school year. We hope to see you soon!
