Which Option to Choose — Veneers or Invisalign®?
If you are looking to improve the appearance of your smile, two popular options are veneers and Invisalign®. The option to choose will be based on what is best for your needs. Both options will ultimately improve the appearance of the front teeth. However, the true deciding factor will be determined by what you are looking to get out of the treatment. Here is more information about veneers and Invisalign®:
Veneers
This treatment is designed to improve the appearance of the front teeth. Veneers have become extremely popular over the years because they are favored by celebrities, models, and other famous personalities. This treatment uses thin, tooth-colored shells that are permanently placed on the front of the teeth. Veneers are often used to improve imperfections such as chips and cracks, severe staining that cannot be improved with whitening, and irregularly shaped teeth. They can also be used to reduce small gaps between teeth. Veneers are typically completed in just a few appointments.
Invisalign®
If you want to improve the alignment of your teeth, Invsialign® may be the better option. This treatment uses clear aligner trays to slowly transition teeth into the desired alignment. It is a wonderful option for patients looking to improve crooked teeth, gaps between teeth, overbite, underbite, and more. Invisalign® is a lengthier option, as it can take many months to transition the teeth as needed.
