International Patient Safety Day
September 17th officially marks International Patient Safety Day, but at Muse Dental Studio, we’re committed to safety every day of the year! That’s why we strive for best-in-care safety procedures. Here are just a few examples of how we create a safe environment for our patients and our team:
- Knowledge: Half the job of implementing safety standards is knowing what those are. Our team is regularly trained on all of our carefully considered procedures, and when new findings and information come out, we’re always ready to update our standards. We strive to give our patients peace of mind knowing that our team knows their stuff when it comes to safety.
- Slow & Steady: Quality care takes time, and so we will take as much time as necessary to properly perform all treatments and procedures. That includes routine visits for preventive care, restorations, as well as any oral surgery or health screening a patient might need during their visit.
- Equipment: It can be hard not to think about germs when you visit any clinical setting, but it’s especially hard when your visit involves holding your mouth open so others can clean and have a look inside. That’s why everyone on our team wears appropriate personal protective equipment, including gloves, medical masks, and aprons. Our PPE helps us prevent the spread of germs all day.
- Sanitization: The other half of our fight against the spread of germs is our commitment to keeping our entire office clean. All patient rooms and equipment are properly sanitized with medical-grade disinfectant between every visit. No matter what a patient is visiting us for, they can feel safe knowing all our equipment is perfectly sterile.
Feel Free to Ask Us Questions!
Patients are always welcome to ask us about safety at Muse Dental Studio, and we’re always happy to answer their questions. It’s our job to create the safest and most welcoming environment for all patients. We will even give new patients a tour of our office before their first visit to help them feel more comfortable and confident when appointment time comes.
